Abstract

Wavepacket motion of self-trapped excitons (STE) was observed under positively and negatively chirped pulses in molecular aggregate of one-dimensional metal complex. Negatively chirped excitation enhances the wavepacket oscillation, which suggests the asymmetry of potential surface.
