Investigation of the ultrafast dynamics of charge recombination of ion pairs using multiplex transient grating spectroscopy

Abstract

the dynamics of charge recombination of ion pairs formed by electron transfer quenching of excited cyano-anthracenes has been investigated using multiplex transient grating spectroscopy. The directly measured rate constants of charge recombination are considerably larger than those deduced indirectly.
