Abstract

Resonant Rayleigh scattering from semiconductor quantum wells and other nanostructures results from the disorder in the system. Ultrafast spectral interferometry unambiguously isolates this coherent component of the resonant secondary radiation, and provides new insights into semiconductor nanostructures.
