THz Emission from Charge-Transfer Reactions in Molecules Aligned in Solutions and Crystals

Abstract

A detailed experimental and theoretical study of THz pulse generation by photoinduced charge transfer in solution and crystals will be presented. In addition, a novel class of molecular crystals will be introduced with optical rectification efficiency superior to ZnTe.
