Direct Measurement of Vibrational Relaxation and Dephasing of Molecules by Spectrally Resolved Two-Colour Three-Pulse Photon Echoes

Abstract

The dynamics of vibrational relaxation and dephasing has been directly determined from the wavelength dependence of stimulated two-colour three-pulse photon echo signals. The influence of rotational motion of the N(C2H5)2 group on the echo intensity is discussed.
