Ultrafast dephasing of photoexcited polarons in primary doped polyaniline

Abstract

Ultrashort pulse pump-probe and transient anisotropy methods are used to study polaron dynamics of primary doped conductive polyaniline in solution. Photoexcited carrier dynamics are identified on timescales of sub-100 fs up to >100 ps timescales.
