Pump-probe near-field optical microscopy of molecular aggregates using supercontinuum

Abstract

A novel apparatus for femtosecond pump-probe near-field optical microscopy is described. Probe pulses in visible to near-infrared regions are generated by focusing laser pulses in microstructure fiber. Excited-state dynamics of porphyrin J-aggregates are presented.
