Diode-pumped Cr: LiCAF Laser for Ultrahigh Resolution Optical Coherence Tomography

Abstract

Ophthalmic ultrahigh resolution Optical Coherence Tomography is demonstrated with a diode-pumped Cr: LiCAF laser. Imaging of the retina with 3.4 µm resolution is achieved. The laser is a promising low-cost light source for OCT imaging.
