MHz-rate white light generation using a novel positivedispersion cavity-dumped Ti:sapphire laser

Abstract

We obtain 0.45 μJ from a cavity-dumped Ti: sapphire oscillator stably operating in the positive-dispersion regime. The pulse can be compressed to 60-fs using a prism pair, and can generate white light continuum through self-filamentation.
