Temporal Gating based on Electron Wavepacket Diffusion for XUV Supercontinuum Generation

Abstract

We demonstrate experimentally and theoretically a gating technique based on the electron wavepacket diffusion for the generation of a broadband XUV continuum exploiting the combination of infrared and visible driving pulses in a two-color scheme.
