Ultrafast THz Response of Few-Layer Epitaxial Graphene

Abstract

Ultrafast measurements of few-layer epitaxial graphene are reported along with its equilibrium optical conductivity. We observe transient THz electrodynamics consistent with photoexcited holes in a dense Dirac electron plasma, which recombine on a picosecond timescale.
