Abstract

Initial relaxation-dynamics of photo-excited all-trans retinal protonated Schiff-bases were investigated with Pump-Degenerate Four Wave Mixing. It is presented that low-frequency modes are excitable only within a short time of relaxation from the Franck-Condon point.
