Abstract

Two techniques for generation and optimization of isolated attosecond pulses are demonstrated experimentally. Ionization gating is used to relax pulse duration and carrier-envelope phase (CEP) requirements, while CEP-scanning enables easy optimization of attosecond pulse contrast.
