Superconductor Terahertz Metamaterials

Abstract

We demonstrate THz metamaterials comprised of high temperature superconducting film (YBa2Cu3O7) replacing the metal structure. They exhibit unique properties that are not achievable using metals, which may result in both interesting applications and underlying physics.
