Anderson Localization of Single Cycle THz Pulses in Random Media

Abstract

We present two approaches based on THz time domain spectroscopy and polaritonics to visualize Anderson localization in 2D systems. In both femtosecond pump/probe experiments are used to observe single-cycle THz-pulses propagating through random media.
