Coherent Raman Microscopy with a Fiber-Format Femtosecond Laser Oscillator

Abstract

A novel highly simplified architecture for Coherent Raman Scattering microscopy (CARS and SRS) is demonstrated, where multiple tunable narrowband picosecond pulses are generated by spectral compression of femtosecond pulses emitted by a compact Er-fiber oscillator.
