Optimization of the Fast Charge Separation in Artificial Photosynthesis for Efficient Transport

Abstract

The concepts of bacterial photosynthesis are extended to the design of artificial photochemical devices. With multi-objective genetic algorithms we reveal the energetic, morphologic and kinetic requirements of an optimized charge-separating unit coupled to diffusive transport.
