Observation of Optical Bullets formed in Laser-driven Plasma Bubble Accelerators

Abstract

Laser-driven plasma “bubble” accelerators, which produce mono-energetic electron beams, are shown to reshape co-propagating probe pulses into optical “bullets” that visualize the bubble directly.
