Abstract

Ultrafast exciton cooling in highly mono-disperse PbSe nanocrystals (NC) is followed with tunable pump - Hyperspectral near-IR probe spectroscopy. Unexpected kinetic and spectral correlations are revealed arguing against the standard models for excited NC absorption.
