Vibrational Energy Flow in Hemeproteins

Abstract

We demonstrate that time-resolved anti-Stokes ultraviolet resonance Raman spectroscopy is a powerful tool for studying the vibrational energy flow in proteins with a spatial resolution of an amino acid residue.
