Infrared double optical gating for generating submicrojoule isolated attosecond pulses

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate an infrared two-color polarization gating scheme for generating an intense isolated attosecond pulse using the multicycle laser. The obtained submicrojoule continuum harmonic spectrum supports the generation of a pulse duration of sub-500 as.
