Magnetic Circular Dichroism probed using High Harmonics

Abstract

We demonstrate the first generation and phase matching of circularly-polarized high harmonics, which are bright enough for magnetic circular dichroism measurements at the M absorption edges of the magnetic materials Fe, Co and Ni.
