Abstract

6-mJ passively CEP-stabilized 80-fs idler pulses from a 1-μm-pumped femtosecond KTA parametric amplifier are spectrally broadened in a noble-gas-filled capillary and recompressed, with a 50% throughput, in an output CaF2 window down to 31 fs.
