Sub-Picosecond Dynamics of Excitonic Random Lasing in Ultrathin Nanosphere Films

Abstract

We use sub-picosecond transient emission measurements to understand the mechanism of excitonic lasing in nanosphere assemblies. The spectrotemporal dynamics reveal distinct lasing modes evolving on their individual femtosecond timescales.
