Dielectric laser accelerators: attosecond electron bunch creation and complex phase-space control

Abstract

We show that dielectric laser accelerators (DLA), photonic nano-structures illuminated by ultrashort laser pulses, can generate attosecond electron bunch trains of 280 as length and allow other complex phase-space manipulation.
