High-sensitivity time-resolved reflectivity in extreme ultraviolet region for probing carrier and phonon dynamics

Abstract

A highly sensitive method for measuring time-resolved reflection in extreme ultraviolet region was developed. We observed optical modulation ΔR/R~1×10-4 by boxcar integration and lock-in detection, and the data acquisition takes four minutes.
