Ultrafast Probing of the Dielectric Response of Nanoplasmonic Systems

Abstract

We demonstrate results of plasmon-associated probing of the dielectric properties of metallic surface nanostructures utilizing ultrafast ellipsometry. Monitoring changes in the dielectric function allows for tracking plasmon related transitions and decay mechanisms.
