Generation of CEP-stable half-cycle 10 µm pulses through two-color laser-induced filamentation

Abstract

We have experimentally demonstrated the generation of half-cycle pulses with the center wavelength of 10 µm through two-color filamentation in nitrogen with the duration of 12 fs, which corresponds to 0.36 cycles.
