Ultrafast Thin-Disk based CPA System with >.1kW Output Power and <.500 fs Pulse Duration

Abstract

A thin-disk based CPA system with a maximum compressed pulse energy of 260 mJ at a repetition rate of 1 kHz and output powers close to 2 kW at 20 kHz is presented. Spectral amplitude shaping led to pulse durations of < 500 fs at 206 mJ.
