Young’s type formula for p-s wave interference to determine bond length for hetero-diatomic molecules from PA-MFPADs measurements

Abstract

We have derived a new Young’s formula for the polarization-averaged molecular frame photoelectron angular distributions (PA-MFPADs), as a bond length ruler for dissociating hetero-diatomic molecules. The relative errors against numerical results were within 5%.
