Multi-frame single-shot ultrafast interferometry of laser-induced surface acoustic waves

Abstract

We developed a multi-frame single-shot ultrafast interferometry for quantitative measurements of dynamic phenomena. We observed laser-induced surface acoustic waves on a glass plate coated by 100 nm-thick chromium with 7 frames and 2.0 ns interval.
