Controlled acceleration of GeV electron beams in an all-optical plasma waveguide

Abstract

We report on the production of an all-optical plasma waveguide, which is able not only to successfully guide an ultra-intense laser pulse and accelerate electrons but also to be combined to a controlled injection process.
