Transverse chromatic aberration in progressive addition spectacle lenses

Abstract

Progressive addition spectacle lenses are increasingly being supplied in materials of high refractive index and low constringence. This brings cosmetic benefits in producing thinner lenses, the increased dispersion has a detrimental effect on visual performance.
