Dispersion in holey optical fibers

Abstract

Holey fibers are described using an efficient new technique based on decompo-sitions of the electric field and fiber profile. Unique and interesting dispersion properties are predicted, including dispersion flattening and anomalous dispersion below 1:3μm.
