Combining Fluid Dynamics and Electromagnetics Modelling to Improve Hollow Core Photonic Band Gap Fibres

Abstract

We combine two powerful simulation tools to predict geometry and optical properties of Hollow Core Photonic Band Gap fibres from their preform and draw parameters. Broad parametric sweeps allow identifying structures with optimum optical performance.
