Radiation-hardened co-doped optical fiber for high-power 1.5µm amplifier

Abstract

We present the performances of a 10W output power optical amplifier operating at 1.5µm under gamma irradiation. For a total dose of 100krad, a limited gain variation of -0.012dB/krad under gamma-radiation has been observed.
