Broadly Tunable Difference Frequency Generation in Orientation-Patterned Gallium Phosphide

Abstract

We generate up to 22 mW of broadband pulses, tunable from 5 to 11 micrometer wavelength in orientation-patterned gallium phosphide by difference frequency mixing between a femtosecond Er fiber laser and a Raman shifted component.
