Fast, optically controlled Kerr phase shifter for digital signal processing: erratum

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

In a previous Letter [Opt. Lett. 38, 1373 (2013)], we erroneously claimed that our demonstration of a fast, continuously controllable nonlinear Kerr phase gate was the first of its kind. That mistake is rectified here.

We should not have claimed that [1] was the first experimental demonstration of a fast, zero to π continuously controllable nonlinear Kerr phase gate. The first demonstration of this phenomenon was presented in [2].
