Improving the fidelity of the Tatarskii Cn2 Calculation with inclusion of pressure perturbations

Abstract

Optical Cn2 can be calculated from temperature, pressure and wind, but generally the pressure is only used to quantify air density; Cn2 is primarily inferred from CT2. This paper shows that pressure perturbations must be considered in neutrally buoyant layers.
