Simulation of Spherical Wave Propagation in non-Kolmogorov turbulence

Abstract

I present the results of an extensive simulation campaign examining the scintillation index of a spherical wave source propagating through uniform non-Kolmogorov and for Kolmogorov turbulence. Kolmogorov results are compared to extended Rytov theory.
