Idealized and realistic large-eddy simulations of optical turbulence (Cn2)

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We will first discuss the development of Cn2 parameterizations based on tuning-free large-eddy simulations (LES). Then, we will demonstrate the strength of a coupled mesoscale-LES modeling framework in capturing Cn2 evolutions from recent field campaigns.
