3-D Surface Profilometry by Direct Color-Fringe Identification and an Orthogonal Setup

Abstract

A new profilometry structured-light technique using an orthogonal system-setup is presented, based on color identification of a color-fringe pattern without employing mathematical-models, the topography of a surface is achieved with a precision of ±0.5766 mm.
