Abstract

The scintillation index of the I0-Bessel-correlated beams generated as temporally incoherent superposition of Laguerre-Gaussian modes with different coherence states and different values of the Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) index on propagation in atmospheric turbulence is reported. The scintillation index is shown to decrease with the increase in the OAM index.
