Adaptive Detection Scheme for Free Space Optical Communication System under Atmospheric Turbulence

Abstract

In order to trace the time-varying channel capacity automatically, an adaptive rate scheme based on recurrence form for computing log-likelihood ratio is proposed. The theoretical and numerical analysis shows the effectiveness of the scheme.
