Mitigation of extreme turbulence effects using target in the loop coherent beam combining

Abstract

Coherent combining of 32 laser beams in target-in-the-loop configuration is presented. We report order of magnitude intensity increase and significant scintillation mitigation for longdistance (13 km) and high-turbulence experiments.
