Quality Metrics for Atmospherically Distorted Images

Abstract

This paper describes a number of quality metrics for quantifying the quality of atmospherically distorted images and corrected images. Metrics that require a truth image (SSIM, MSE) and no-reference metrics (NIQE, BRISQUE) will be reviewed.
