The Effect of the Range of Dipole Interaction Within a DDA-Style Description of the Scattering of Light by Non-Spherical Aerosol and Hydrosol Particles

Abstract

In order to reduce computational resources, we investigate the effect of limiting the dipole interaction range within a DDA calculation of light scattering. The results indicate that ignoring long-range interaction can be a good approximation.
