Abstract

A signal processor for simultaneous direction finding and spectral analysis of radio signals is described. This device utilizes acoustooptics and a Mach-Zehnder interferometer. The signal processor’s operational principles are analytically derived and experimentally demonstrated. Alternative acoustooptic signal processors are compared with this instrument.
