Optical polar profilometer: an analyzer of circularly symmetric surfaces

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

A noncontact optical measuring method is presented. This technique allows the recording of polar curves of surfaces with circular symmetry at a high sensitivity which is obtained by using differential detection. Longitudinal and transverse sensitivities to surface modulations are analyzed theoretically and shown to be in good agreement with experimental verifications.
