Infrared Transmittance of Optical Materials at Low Temperatures

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

Transmittance measurements of a variety of infrared optical materials were made at approximate temperatures of 50°K, 85°K, and 300°K in the 1.0-μ to 15.0-μ wavelength region. The effects of these low temperatures on transmittance are presented in the form of curves, with transmittance as a function of wavelength. A change in external transmittance was measured for some materials.
